Oxford RL Foundation and Sky Try have joined forces to bring rugby league to Oxfordshire, aiming to develop and introduce the game into schools and the community.

Who are we?

A newly established Community Interest Company (CIC) dedicated to:
• Harnessing the inspiring power of sport and physical activity to make a lasting, positive impact on individuals’ lives.

What will we do?

We will work both in direct sports delivery and in wider community initiatives.

The organisation will work on agendas ranging from increasing participation by people in sport to health improvement, social wellbeing, citizenship, youth offending and rehabilitation.

We will work in both formal environments and out in communities.

Health walks

Running groups

Coach & leadership education

Employment training, placements and apprenticeships

Who will we work with?

The organisation will work with partners across the spectrum of sport,community, health and social inclusion.

Examples of current partners include Oxfordshire Sports Partnership, Sport England, Oxford Brookes University, The Oxford Academy, Bartholomew School, Abingdon and Witney College and The Rugby Football League.

How can you help?

There are a variety of ways to get involved with us. These range from volunteering a few hours of time, becoming a patron of the organisation to being a sponsor of a project.
